　We conducted photography contests "100 Views of Mt.Unzen" in 2014 and 2015. We will introduce overviews of the two contests, and show photobooks containing prize-winning or appreciated photographs, and collection of applied photographs representing respective viewpoints around Kyushu.

Photography contest "Charms of Shimabara Peninsula
――100 Views of Mt.Unzen" in 2014

　This contest intended to make an e-photobook to introduce charms of Shimabara Peninsula with a focus on Mt.Unzen. It was one of the memorial projects for the 80th anniversary of National Park "Unzen" and the 5th anniversary of Unzen Volcanic Area Geopark. Although there are many applied photographs without Mt.Unzen (inclusion of Mt.Unzen was not a requisite), the photobook is expressing various charms of Shimabara Peninsula.

Photography contest "Nostalgic Landscape in Kyushu Ariake Region (Hinokuni)――100 Views of Mt.UnzenⅡ" in 2015

　This contest intended to make e-photobooks to introduce charms of "Ariake Sea & Mt.Unzen" as the nostalgic landscape in Kyushu Ariake Region. At the closing of the contest in 2014, we received many requests to plan a contest for the next year from applicants in Kumamoto, and then we planned this contest expanding the theme to Kyushu-scale. Inclusion of Mt.Unzen was a requisite, and 3 sub-themes were set: ①Mt.Unzen beyond plains/tidalflats of Fukuoka/Saga; ②Mt.Aso & Mt.Unzen; ③Amakusa Islands & Mt.Unzen. As a result, photographs with various unprecedented compositions were applied to us.

　We produced the previous section "Guide to viewpoints of Mt.Unzen" using applied photographs representing respective viewpoints around Kyushu. Almost all photographs with names on the bottom-right corners are applied ones, so please enjoy the section again, adding such point of views.
